TOEFL Program

HtW staff/volunteers prepare high school seniors to take the TOEFL (test of English as a foreign language), which is required for any student coming from a non-English speaking country in order to study in the USA.  Those who pass will be given the opportunity to study at a university in the USA.  Advertisement for the course takes place within high schools around Ouagadougou and Bamako, Africa.  Courses are carried out at HtW partner schools with HtW staff/volunteers who have either taken the TOEFL or who have been trained to teach ESL or TOEFL.
