Noël – Project Manager – Mali

Noël speaks fluent French, Bambara and Mianka.

A 25-year old native of Karangasso, a small village 20 km outside of Koutiala, Mali. Coming from a family of six, Noël’s life thus far has been one of service. He spends his time helping others through Heal the World and teaching grade school at College Samuel, a private school just a stone’s throw from his family home. Noël knows poverty. He has grown up with it and sees how it affects nutrition and health, how it can break families apart and ruin lives, and cause death. When he sees a person living in poor conditions, he has the urge to do anything in his power to help. “Even if I have only 1000 CFA [about 2 dollars], and someone comes to me and explains a problem they have, I will help them. For some, I am their last hope. How can I refuse?”

Noël believes that by totally giving himself to helping others, he is serving and honoring God. “The Bible says to love your neighbor as yourself,” and Noël certainly lives this verse every day.
