I've always found something beautiful in listening to people speak, no matter what language their story is told in. Growing up with family on both sides of the border, God blessed me with the opportunity to listen to many beautiful stories. The older I got and the more I learned, the more I realized that the well-paying, unfulfilling jobs and stimulating, idle world of academia were not where I wanted to be; I wanted to be a part of the story rather than just listen to it.

Blessed with opportunities to engage in conversation with brilliant minds in many different fields, I realized that every brilliant theory and genius plan did absolutely nothing over a cup of coffee, but even the smallest snowball can turn into an avalanche as long as it can get itself into motion. With that in mind, and the support of friends and family, the idea spawned to undertake a project to empower people with the most powerful tool in the world: knowledge.

Mexico is a country of beauty and passion, in itself and in its people, and the effects of global dynamics - financially, politically, and culturally - can be seen rippling through it, for better or worse. With God's love and blessing, I hope that I am able to be a channel for Him to give others what he has given to me. And in the process, maybe help those people tell stories of their own.
