Anne-Marie – Team Lead/Teacher – Burkina Faso ELI

The 'Token Brit' of the team, I was born near London, but moved to Hong Kong at a young age where I was bought up and attended an International school. There I fell in love with the Chinese Culture and the expat lifestyle, which led to my passion for travelling and experiencing other cultures. After finishing a degree in Criminology & Education at Cardiff University Wales, I did a one-year internship with a charity/business just outside of London. Just as I was finishing I came across the Heal the World website, and due to my love for foreign countries and the sound of the projects they were undertaking I decided to apply to come work with them, and am now part of the team!
